Cisco IP Phone 7821 (Office Desk phones)
Activating Voice Mail on your IP Phone
Press the Message button on your Cisco IP Phone
Enter your Voice Mail PIN 12345 followed by "#"
Follow the voice instructions to change the Voice Mail PIN to activate the Voice Mail service.
Setup your name and voicemail message as to the following guidelines.
‘You have contacted (name) at the HSU, I cannot take your call at this time. Please leave your name and contact details and I will return your call shortly. Alternatively, please contact the Member Services Division on 1300 478 679 for immediate assistance.’
The red light on your Handset will light up when you have a voicemail message.
To access the voice messaging system, press the Message button and follow the voice instructions.
A copy of the voicemail will be emailed to your mailbox where you can also play the audio file.
You will also have an application installed on your desktop named Cisco Jabber which can access your desk phone and see all the voicemails and recent calls. You can also use this application to dial out with.
